Tina Eboka is a board-level Strategy Consultant with a 24-year career spanning the banking, science/technology research, retail and manufacturing industries in both the public and the private sectors. Tina is a recognised business turnaround specialist who excels at fueling change in South Africa and on the African continent.
In her most recent role, Tina served as Executive Director of Group Corporate Affairs with Standard Bank of South Africa, where she established and led group corporate affairs as a member of the Group Executive Committee.
Tina reorganised Standard Bank’s corporate funding strategy to funnel needed monies to entrepreneurship, education and health/wellness programmes in over 114 communities throughout South Africa. She also led the bank’s corporate responsibility programmes, attaining 70% strategy adoption in other emerging markets where the bank operates. As a trusted senior advisor, Tina consulted with banking executives in Africa, Argentina and the UK.
Before joining Standard Bank, Tina held a number of roles at the Council for Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) including Executive Director – Textile Technology Division; Director – Water, Forestry & Environment Division and Vice President, Organisational Development & Communications. Prior to that Tina worked as a Senior Manager at Woolworths, a Chief Engineer with After Six and an Adjunct Math Professor at the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science.
Tina holds an MBA in Business Operations & Project Management and a BS in Textile Engineering from Philadelphia University, a BS in Applied Mathematics with a Minor in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York, a Diploma in Change Leadership from Cornell University and a Senior Executive Programme Diploma from Harvard Business School.
