Stella Nkomo is a Professor in the Department of Human Resource Management at the University of Pretoria.
Prior to that she was the Bateman Distinguished Professor of Business Leadership at UNISA’s Graduate School of Business Leadership.
A former Scholar-in-Residence at the Mary Ingraham Bunting Institute of Radcliffe College of Harvard University, Stella’s nationally recognised work on race and gender in organisations and managing diversity appears in numerous journals, edited volumes and magazines.
She is listed in ‘Who’s Who in the Management Sciences’ and is co-author of the Harvard Business School Press book ‘Our Separate Ways: Black and White Women and the Struggle for Professional Identity’.
Stella recently received the Outstanding Woman Scientist Award in the field of Social Sciences in South Africa.
